Today, I want to take a moment to remind you just how incredible you are. Your dedication in remaining open to Reiki does not go unappreciated. I hope you take a moment today to recognise the light you share makes a profound difference in the world. Whether you offer Reiki to yourself, loved ones, or clients, your energy radiates kindness, balance, and peace.
We spend so much time giving, supporting others, and holding space…but today, I invite you to turn that same kindness inward and celebrate yourself.
Take a few moments to honour your AWESOMENESS with this simple self-Reiki practice: Connect with Reiki – Activate Reiki and let the energy flow into your heart centre. Feel warmth, love, and appreciation filling your entire being.

Each loss can become a gain if you are willing to accept that pain and suffering leads to wisdom and growth .Your time on this earth plane is just a small part of a longer journey.

The Messages We SendFollowing a recent winter sun break, I found myself reminiscing. For years, every adventure held a postcard. It became a ritual—stepping into a small shop, flipping through racks of glossy images, searching for the one that felt just right. A sun-drenched beach, a winding cobbled street, a mountain wrapped in mist. More than a snapshot of where I’d been, it was a moment captured in words, a chance to share a piece of the journey in a way that felt personal.I kept the tradition alive, with my boys, often sharing details that don’t make it into travel guides but make a place feel real.And then, sometimes, I sent a decoy. A generic “Having a great time, wish you were here!” to work colleagues. Sometimes a formality rather than a connection. Those postcards felt empty, like sending a beautiful picture without a story.Now, looking back, I wonder—how often do we communicate like that decoy postcard? A quick message, a hollow reply, something sent out of habit rather than meaning. True connection takes more. It’s in the details, the intention, the thought that lingers long enough to make someone feel seen.Maybe that’s why I still love postcards. In a world of instant communication, they remind me to slow down, to choose words with care. Because every message, whether written in ink or pixels, is an opportunity—not just to speak, but to truly connect.
As we begin to settle in to 2025, I’ve noticed already peoples initial intentions for the year starting to fade.
So I’m encouraging you to take a moment to realign with your goals, renew your energy, and embrace the freshness of 2025 and foster harmony within yourself and your surroundings with some affirmations.

For Reiki practitioners, the sun can also serve as a potent source of revitalising energy, helping to recharge and balance our own life force, regardless of the weather.The Sun as a Universal Energy SourceIn Reiki, we work with universal life force energy, which flows through all living things. The sun, as a primary source of this energy, provides a direct connection to nature’s power. While sunlight is physically visible on clear days, its energetic presence is always available, even when clouds obscure it or when the weather is cold and rainy.Just as Reiki energy transcends time and space, solar energy can be accessed beyond its physical warmth and brightness. The key is to tune into its essence, allowing it to replenish your energy field.How to Energise from the Sun—Whatever the Weather1. Sun Meditation for Energy Absorption • Find a quiet place outdoors or near a window. • Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths, centering yourself. • Visualise the sun’s rays reaching you, filling you with golden light. • Even on cloudy days, imagine the sun’s energy filtering through, touching your skin, and entering your energy field. • As you breathe in, absorb its warmth and vitality. As you exhale, release any stagnant energy.2. Reiki Self-Healing with Solar Energy • Place your hands on your solar plexus (just above the navel), the chakra most associated with personal power and vitality. • Intend to draw in the sun’s energy, allowing it to flow through your palms and into your body. • If it is daytime, even if the sun is hidden, trust that its energy is present and available to you. • Let Reiki and solar energy combine, filling your body with renewed strength and balance.3.
